MARS STRANGE COLOSSI
Part 4 of
5
Report #088
July 11, 2005
The above 13th report image from the MOC E15-01354 strip shows yet another variation of these colossi. These are again in a crater, Wirtz Crater, some miles to the west of and in the mid-area of the same Argyre region as the previously reported Part 3 Green Crater evidence. The above are just a sample imaged few in a broad field of such forms in the original strip.
Once again note that the colossi are dark and mostly light absorbing also demonstrating a limited measure of semi-transparency revealing dark streaks confined to the objects with no such evidence dark streaks in the surrounding terrain. However, please note that the above imaged colossi here are developing a dorsal projection off of the right upper side. Beside itself being a unique feature, this will also prove to be important in confirming the telling image evidence further down in this report.
Note to that these objects also appear to be developing a fairly uniform conical elevated height shape that tends to center within the mass rather than lean far to one side as is so often the case. In other words, something different is happening here with these colossi demonstrating their internal dynamic and changing properties and that they are clearly not just sediment "dune" geology but something much more than that.
The above 14th image is from the same E15-01354 strip but a sample taken lower down in the "dune" field in this strip. These are somewhat smaller forms but otherwise the same as those in the above 13th image. Note that here they are concentrating elevating in a rounded elongated fashion to the left of center stretching themselves thin on the ground to the right. They may be trying to respond to the same common impulse that their larger kin further up the strip in the 13th image are doing but just can't pull it off the same perhaps because of their smaller size and bulk.
Dare we characterize this as youth? Could there be some correlation here between size and bulk with age and youth? Are we looking at life of some kind here? As large as it is in absolute terms, is this the immature form? As you can see, the more you know, the more you realize how little you really know and how frustrating ignorance is. One thing is for sure, once again there is no evidence of sediment accumulation or scattering of same in their surrounding terrain by wind action or dark streaks in the terrain either. This once again reminds us of the need to think outside the box if these objects and their purpose is to ever be ultimately and accurately understood.
The E15-01354 strip the 13th and 14th image evidence is taken from was shot in April, 2002. The above 15th and below 16th image evidence sourced from the E21-00192 strip was shot in October, 2002 some six months later. Both are in the same area inside eastern portion of Wirts Crater and so these may very well be the same objects seen in the above 13th image evidence.
As you can see, the image appears much clearer and sharper than the evidence in the 13th and 14th images. However, that is an illusion. This is partly because the objects now appear to have a more solid light reflecting surface that is sharply outlined and defined including by sharper shadows now seen to be thrown by the objects.
In my opinion, it is also partly because the terrain around and right up to the outer perimeter edge of these objects is thoroughly covered by smudge image tampering. It is has been applied on a fine scale at closer resolution many times greater than what you see here and then the whole withdrawn to this distant view to help obscure the evidence of it. It is the map type tampering because the applications have mapped down into and over what are probably winding gully drain system and these indention's in the tampering application field provides the texture and a terrain appearance even though the true terrain is entirely hidden.
It is also why the terrain in this 15th image looks so much different than in the 13th and 14th images. Now that is not to say that the terrain in the 13th and 14th images is the true terrain. I suspect that assuming that would be a mistake.
The surface of the huge masses has also been subjected to this tampering. Even so, the tampering has mapped to and conformed to these unique colossi shapes revealing them rather than hiding them. The shapes are unique and the automated software was probably not programmed to deal with such large and uniquely strange shapes. So the terrain may not be real and the colossi surface may not be real, but the overall shape of the colossi are very real. Further, they conform to the darker light absorbing semitransparency with streaks developmental stage evidence as seen in the above 13th image.
Now we're going to actually get to some better insight into what may really be going on here, at least at this site. The above 16th image is a closer view of one of the colossi as labeled in the previous 15th image and of course taken from the same strip. Note the rows of tall geometric structures receding from the edge area and into the interior of the colossi as pointed out with the arrow and label. This little patch of evidence not so severely impacted by the image tampering speaks for itself.
Based on this patch of evidence and multiple others like it in this scene examined but not imaged by me, I am reasonably satisfied that this particular colossal size object is a cover for civilization evidence. I suspect that the cover was clear at the time that this image was taken revealing a lot more geometric structure evidence inside and that this geometric structure evidence triggered the automated image tampering software application to cover it up rather than the colossi shape itself. I suspect that the same is true of the surrounding terrain outside the colossi as well.
A number of image tampering techniques have been used here including blur and smudge applications as well as the distancing technique. Also used are enlarged blocks of pixels and you can just barely see the outline of these in the medium dark area to the immediate left of the outright dark area in the center area of the colossi in the above image.
If you will examine the 15th image closely and even better zoom in on the original E21-00192 strip itself, if you have that capability available, you will see the same small patch of geometric structure evidence left out of the worst of the tampering in the same spot on the lower edge of a number of the other colossi. At first I thought this might be someone cloning the whole colossi shape and placing them around in this scene. However, I have zoomed in, clarified and confirmed that each similar small patch of geometric structure evidence in each colossi is unique and different from each other and therefore assumed to be real.
As for the dorsal looking object on top of the colossi mostly obscured and blurred by image tampering, it may be a giant manipulable fin associated with wind direction and ventilation control of the heat gaining colossi interior. It may also represent entrance and exit of the interior by flying craft. What ever it is, it is common to all of the colossi here and I suspect it is used in other applications to form the concave indention's often seen on the elevated side of these objects even though that appears not be its purpose here in this conical fairly uniform slope to the center type of application.
Now I want to point out here that this may be what is going on with the colossi in this particular spot within Wirtz Crater but this lone evidence is insufficient to project with confidence that this is what is happening with all the rest of the similar colossi evidence. This particular evidence and its shape is in my experience unique among other such colossi evidence and so acting as a cover for civilization evidence may be unique here as well.
However, one thing is for sure, at least we now have some decent insight into one function of these colossi here at this site. That insight clearly confirms conclusions that reach well beyond the official interpretation that these colossi objects are just natural geological dunes and provides increased reason for the need to think outside the box when it comes to interpretation of what these colossi may be.
