WHY NO MEDIA COVERAGE?

Here's another viewer's e-mail expressing his frustration as to why the media has not picked up on and displayed at least some of the best Mars independent visual discovery evidence you see here at this Web site. I get a lot of this type of "why" question. This viewer no doubt speaks for many of us. The full text of his brief comments are in the tan text below and my wordy response continues in the body of white text below that.

Joseph, who would smudge these pictures? WHY DON'T THESE PHOTOS EVER REACH NEWSPAPERS OR T.V. I'm really fascinated by it all. It deserves more debate. Good for you for bringing it out to our attention.

Thanks for the supportive comments ______, sadly it is more complicated than just the problem with the media. The reality is that people in general are in denial on this subject. Further, that general denial is intentionally encouraged and reinforced by artificially imposed secrecy tactics and our own national and world wide social idiosyncrasies. This has been going on for so long now that the newer generations growing up from youths with this situation merely take the conditioning for granted and not only rarely question it, they specifically don't want to be disturbed by any suggestion that they should deal with it and themselves in relation to it.

Many people in general are not really confident enough in thinking for themselves and often abdicate responsibility to and require their acknowledged leaders to step up and lead the way into awareness on a provocative issue like this before they will seriously consider it as a subject they need to be aware of, concerned about, and involved in. Often, the uncertain public in general, not wanting to deal with something like this themselves, doesn't want to acknowledge this or, for that matter, be faced with the reality of any leadership failure in this regard. To do so would no doubt cause them even more uncertainty and nervousness, so they simply don't and avoidance and thereby ignorance is their default habitual path.

The general political leadership are well aware of the general public's apathy in this regard and their lack of doing anything is generally geared to that perception. In other words, they take their cues from their perception of the general public's attitude in this regard. The few political leaders who might have just a bit more of this on their radar usually come by their extremely limited information by often being in bed with the secrecy types in some manner and of course are compromised to that extent. Further, they really haven't the slightest idea how to start to go about dealing with this and the deeply embedded secrecy power they would have to go up against, so they simply don't and so avoidance and thereby ignorance and apathy becomes their default habitual path.

The secrecy insiders are aware, at least based on the degree of their individual secrecy need to know, but they're mostly focussed on special interests such as technological advancement gains and military intelligence gain agendas. Although there may be contingency plans in place, I suspect that the bottom line is that they have no definitive responses or answers as to what they anticipate will be public concerns and pressure for them to supply if the truth were to come out into greater general awareness. So, avoidance but without the ignorance becomes their default path and ever increasing self perpetuating secrecy is the result of that as well as their increasing self isolation away from interest in the welfare of those (you and I) they are suppose to serve.

To effectively implement the secrecy, hard science itself as well as the science communities leadership have been manipulated and corrupted in bits and pieces to this end by the secrecy agenda for decades. It is the national and world wide price of secrecy. So much so that now the scientists are thoroughly conditioned to the secrecy entrenched artificially created norms and only responding in nice "safe" non challenging ways to the process and results of planetary exploration that do not threaten to disrupt the secrecy agenda. It is also the same with the academic communities that the science communities have their roots in.

Sadly the media gateways take their cues from their perception of the general public, political leadership, and science and academic leadership attitudes in this regard reflecting the perceived prevalent values (or lack of same) they find there. Further, the media at its highest corporate control levels is essentially a commercial part of the same general military/industrial complex that is in bed with the secrecy agenda. So, knowledge of this information is voluntarily and actively blocked all along the media information gateway points from ever reaching public awareness. It is a self perpetuating and self sustaining social phenomena.

Let's face it, news in general and information through the media is a highly selective process and very often characterized by careful manipulation. It is that way due to both legitimate and not so legitimate reasons. For example, not many of us want to know the intricate blow by blow of some gruesome murder. The media knows this and their manipulation shields us from such real life but gruesome details. On the other hand, when we went down to Panama years ago to illegally capture and bring back its Head of State, the required military action resulted in civilian death toll figures that still cannot be published here in this country nor can the resulting international criticism. Likewise with anything this man may have had to say in his own defense. Why? Because that Head of State was not a sympathetic figure in general for us here and so we really don't want to know about it. The media well knows this as well as the Government's desire for this information to remain unknown and so it goes through this intense filtering process and we all remain in ignorance even though we prefer not to look at it that way.

The net result is that real provocative anomalous information, such as that coming from Mars via the independent discovery record you find here at this Web site, that might challenge the socially accepted norm and status quo is never voluntarily reported by the mainstream media and therefore can never reach into general consciousness where its too much of the "unknown" factor might disturb and make the general public's thoughts uncomfortable. The public in general wants the nice safe pabulum (white noise) and normally doesn't demand more real content from the media. So, we all get this safe pabulum in mega doses without regard to the retarding effect that this "white noise" addiction has on mental rational processes and its promotion of the principle of ignorance.

If anything positive is to ever happen in this so far negative situation, it must come from a grass roots core movement from within our own ranks right here insisting on and making clear demands of our leaders to get into this, the mainstream media to bring this information into greater awareness, and our peers to wake up out of their mindless "white noise" pabulum and become involved in the complexities of their own very real destiny. Absolutely nothing less than that will work on or impress the secrecy agenda cranking along on it never ending path of being the sole beneficiary of this kind of knowledge.

When enough stronger more independent thinking people become aware of this anomalous evidence record and its implications and get tired enough of the prevalent and entrenched universal "avoidance = ignorance" syndrome to take on leadership roles themselves, it will eventually tip the balance and galvanize enough of the general public to band together around this core discovery evidence record and accelerate awareness away from avoidance and toward dealing with this as the reality (our reality) that it already is. It is admittedly an incredible and extraordinary subject but it is nothing that we can't deal with, if we can ever break through all this self imposed universal avoidance syndrome we all have going on.
