A MAINSTREAM DILEMMA

As I'm sure you know, this website gets a lot of e-mail. The great bulk of it is from people around the world who are enthusiastic about the eye opening discoveries and information recorded here and who are eager to learn more.

Surprisingly, considering the controversial subject matter and how it so flies against the mainstream science, academic and media leadership positions and considering the volume of e-mail received, there is very little criticism. In fact, criticism feedback via e-mail to me is almost non existent and very rare at significantly less than 1% of my e-mail. I doubt that few around the world dealing in such subject matter that often sparks emotional reactions can truthfully say the same, particularly considering the high hit rate volume the website evidence record enjoys currently at over 600,000 per month and steadily climbing.

As this volume continues to climb, the evidence gradually reaches deeper and deeper into mainstream perception and awareness. I have no doubt that this relentless climb and its potential implications is a concern for the secrecy agenda who depend on the mainstream and ignorance for their primary support. Let's face it, if the numbers keep climbing, at some future point they could reach critical mass and result in a growing demand from the mainstream itself for their acknowledged and trusted leaders to respond in a significant and meaningful public way to this growing anomalous evidence record and its implications.

From my point of view, that's the beauty of hard evidence, especially evidence drawn right from their own science data, unlike conjecture extrapolated from very little real evidence, true hard evidence is much harder to deal with and explain away. That is one reason why they avoid attacking this record like the plague because it is full of very real and very difficult to deal with evidence. Another is that to attack it also means putting even more focus on it giving it attention and notoriety and sending even more unwelcome mainstream traffic through it to see what the fuss is about. In other words, it's a "Catch 22" type situation for them where it's unpleasant which ever way you go.

When such evidence is so hard to deal with, the usual procedure is to try and circumvent the tough worrisome evidence by instead targeting the human source associated with it. If you can cast doubt on that source, then the evidence is also cast in question by association. It shouldn't be that way and hard evidence should stand on its own merit but it is unfortunately the way of we humans and a tried and true tactic as old as civilization itself for leaders dealing with perceived uncomfortable and threatening information. Anticipating this often repeated reality, you can perhaps better understand why I am so cautious for example in not accepting the recent offer of TV exposure from one of the oldest, very famous, and prestigious mainstream publications.

So I continue plugging along on with my own agenda of releasing planetary exploration evidence and truth that points in a different direction than officially promoted and accepted. Yet, as I periodically release this sometimes unsettling anomalous evidence, especially when it is really telling of life other than our own and which we may not be familiar with, I detect mainstream viewer reactions that often range from either mostly silence to more rare expressed concerns. Mainstream people often may not really want to know, but they are not fools, they know when the evidence is especially telling, and they're fascinated and drawn to it. Their courage spiced with a little fear leads them to the evidence but then their reactions are often one of concern and more fear as they realize inside themselves that the evidence that they might have initially thought was more entertaining than anything else really is telling and serious and not to be easily dismissed.

With these thoughts in mind, I received the following e-mail from a mainstream person that is very articulate as well as open and truthful in expressing her concerns. Concerns no doubt shared by many viewing this evidence but who remain silent and perhaps fearful about it. One cannot help but respect where she is coming from and her courage in breaking away just a little from the perceived safety of the mainstream pack. She represents a mainstream transition person drawn by truth but perhaps put off by its perceived potential implications when this evidence record gets a little too real.

She also represents the one type of person the manipulative secrecy agenda doesn't want to see in any significant numbers impacted by this evidence record and its truth. To under where she is coming from, here are her own words.

"It's been a relief to find someone cataloguing and researching Mars' biodiversity in a more scientific way. I too, have become recently a convert, and it has unnerved me to the core. Obviously you have found more obvious signs of life than that which is on the site and have withheld it for probably the same reasons as NASA and ESA! However, it still doesn't deter from the fact that these are gigantic discoveries for mankind and also rather earth shattering. Do the implications of life on Mars mean that we are vulnerable?? I certainly am feeling it, I feel much much smaller in the universe than prior to discovery and fear for the safety of me and my community! Have any of the other discoverers discussed these issues, as not many of those who I've approached either don't believe me or don't mention it. Look forward to your response!"

Now the following is my rather wordy reply to her that some of you may also want to consider.

"If I thought there was a need to legitimately be concerned or afraid about alien life _____, maybe I wouldn't even do this at all. I do this because it should be done, must be done, and no one else is stepping up to the plate with this hard evidence and doing it. I do this because we must grow up and being more knowledgeable about the realities already a part of our environment is far better than being ignorant of the true full complexities that we may exist in.

There is no logical reason to be concerned for yours or your community's welfare. If there are other civilizations around us, then they have logically existed for a long time sharing our environment in a relatively peaceful way and we are still here and essentially going our own way. If there are other civilizations in our larger planetary environment, then the only thing that is new about that is our beginning to admit this reality to ourselves. The responsibility is ours to do this, not someone else's to do it for us. The sleeper must awaken!

What we probably have more to worry about is from our own kind. Someone here knows about this and is clearly trying to keep it from general public awareness. Is this supposed to be for our benefit or someone else? From my point of view, it is hard to see how manipulated ignorance on our part can also be for our good and benefit??? That is the way cattle are treated and look what happens to them. On the other hand, it is much easier to see how such manipulation by a select few might be perceived as potentially beneficial primarily for the self interest of that select few.

Do you want to leave your destiny and that of your community blindly to these manipulative others on the simple trusting hope that they know best and may act in our best interests rather than their own as well? Do you want manipulative types here alone dealing with others who may potentially hold all of our destiny in their hands without any shared involvement or input from us? After all, their past performance of manipulation and insisting on promoting general population ignorance along with the schism that results from that speaks for itself.

At this point in time, these are the most important issues at hand _____, not alien life and what they may or may not do. After all, any alien life past deeds of apparently essentially leaving us alone does also speak for itself. Likewise, I suspect that our now inevitably spreading out and off of this planet carrying our schism between knowledge and ignorance with us is a concern for them. I know that I would be if I were them. Again, the sleeper must awaken."

Then I received the following e-mail response back from her. It demonstrates the uncertain state that so many mainstream people must deal with both inside themselves and in their lives as they encounter the stress of truth/information overload that intrudes into consciousness on the one hand and familiar mainstream avoidance peer pressure on the other to ignore and stay away from it.

"Thank you very much for your insightful response, this has given me something to ponder on and I will think about not focussing on the fearful response! Much appreciated. Good luck on your inroads to uncovering the truth, I really hope that you succeed in doing that, especially at Ophir Chasma, which is my area of interest. I will cease correspondence now as this kind of research drives my husband crazy and he has asked me to discontinue pursuing it. I shall do so, with peace in mind!!!!! Good luck once again and thank you."

So, although it may be comforting in many ways to be mainstream, it clearly it is not easy and my sympathies go out to this person and all those others out there struggling with the same kind of concepts she is. Clearly, when it comes to this type of planetary exploration evidence, some on one side see it as interesting, exciting, and something to be enthusiastic about while others on the other side perceive it as uncertainty and discomfort to be avoided not to mention all the gray areas in between.

I cannot offer to tell any of you what you should think, each of you individually must decide that for yourselves. What I can say is that in my opinion avoiding reality and living in pretense is always mistake prone very risky business and in the long run knowledge and the greater accuracy that comes with it is always preferable to ignorance. If the direction this sometimes unsettling anomalous evidence is pointing in turns out to be our greater reality, especially with respect to living and active advanced civilizations, then this is nothing new and has already been our environment for a very long time. If so, no amount of personal pretense or denial on our part is going to change that fact and reality.

In my admittedly not so humble opinion, the most dangerous and destructive potential for Earth humanity is not in such a potential reality but in any isolationism pretense trying to deny the presence of such a potential reality. Isolation, pretense and denial blinds who ever practices it to knowledge absolutely essential to accurate decision making. A lack of accuracy in decision making equates directly to poor and mistake prone decision making. Worse this impacts one of, if not the greatest, pivotal points in known Earth human history. The logic is inescapable and, in my opinion, we just can't afford being so blinded. The obvious risks of blindness are just too great.

Our past President Franklin Roosevelt told this nation at the USA's beginning of World War II that we had nothing to fear but fear itself. He was absolutely right. Despite a tremulous start, our commitment toughened up with our spirit and economic power prevailing and now we are a world super power. This demonstrates that it is our own emotional reactions that have the greatest potential for tripping us up not the situation itself or our ability to cope with it. We can just as well cope with this planetary business to, if we get our own emotions and fears under control and get away from pretense and denial.

Yes this is a mainstream dilemma. But, rather than just simply resisting the growing evidence, what is needed is to do the responsible thing by coming onboard and get behind this evidence and push it. First demand that the media give it greater exposure to the public and then demand in growing numbers that our leaders back away from denial and ignorance and treat it and the examination of it seriously. The demand should be that examination of this evidence must be given greater open and objective scrutiny to determine its true merit and not by just stacking up naysayers with reputations and strings of degrees to tell us what they think the mainstream wants to hear that is so typical of the traditional now deeply imbedded secrecy manipulated denial psychology.

If we are already a part of a greater environment that is more complex than we ever imagined, then let's face it and get on with starting to do the catch up thing and move forward. It will not hurt us one bit to face any of our short comings and be challenged by that greater complexity. If we aren't top dog in that already existing greater environment, surely there is more to us than just fear and thin egos! Let's get on with the challenge of carving out a better place for ourselves. Continued denial will only sustain ignorance and increase decision making risks. Alternatively, if this anomalous evidence isn't what it appears to be, then let's find that out conclusively as well by treating the evidence and its consideration seriously.

Let's start by demanding to know unequivocally without doubt what are the huge objects that the incredibly obvious smudge image tampering is conforming to and hiding on our Moon right over our heads every night? If we hang onto that one thing like a pitbull and get the straight on that super obvious business, believe me the rest, like the evidence on Mars and elsewhere, will quickly fall into place. This obfuscation of something on the Moon is the most obvious thing and something that anyone can see and recognize for what it obviously is and one of the most difficult pieces of evidence for the secrecy crowd to easily dismiss and explain away.

It's up to you in the mainstream out there as well as the rest of us whether we're going to continue to accept manipulation, ignorance and denial or whether we're going to demand the knowledge that is our destiny? The secrecy agenda will not do it for you, no one else out there can do it for you, and I cannot as a lone voice do it for you. You must want it and then start by demanding full truth from those that are suppose to be serving you and your interests.
