THE MOON LCROSS POTENTIAL
Commentary #039
July 7, 2009 (update 9/20/09)
In my 4/17/09 Commentary
#37 on the LRO (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter) and what we might
expect from it evidence wise, I did not mention the companion LCROSS (Lunar
Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite) part of the mission. I did not do
so because I suspected that the drama of what the LCROSS potential
may represent to Earth humanity might over shadow the points made there in
that previous report. However, LCROSS and LRO are in orbit around the Moon,
so now we come to it.
If you've read Commentary #37, then you know that the LRO is to position itself
in very low orbit only about 50 km or a little over 31 miles above the Moon's
surface and is suppose to be taking the best high resolution images of that
surface ever and for the duration of one year. Compare that to the 230-250
mile distance the MGS MOC mission was relegated to above Mars taking its images.
If there is any civilization evidence on the Moon, and the evidence from the
Clementine Moon imaging clearly suggests that there is with some being on
a massive scale, then this new LRO imaging will theoretically reveal it in
bold and fine detail.
That is, if intentional obfuscation isn't a factor. However, I seriously doubt
that they are going to voluntarily reveal what the Clementine imaging and
other earlier imaging clearly indicates is there on the Moon. I could of course
be wrong about this but I suspect that what we here in the public as well
as the academic and science communities are going to get is some very good
artificial graphics work made especially for this mission here on Earth long
before the mission ever lifted off Earth on its way to the Moon and nothing
about it will be in any way real even as its looks very good.
Meanwhile, here's the other part of the story on this same mission. Did you
know that this same space craft also contains what NASA refers to as LCROSS.
More specifically this part of the mission consists of two "heavy impactors"
that will on 10/9/2009 "excavate the permanently dark floor of one of
the Moon's polar craters" in the South Polar Region. The purpose will
be to throw ejecta debris in a plume above any targeted crater so that instruments
can visually analyze it for any water ice content. The purpose being to determine
if any water is present in these deep permanently in shadow dark crater bottoms
that can be used for future human bases on the Moon.
There are three crater areas potentially targeted as
follows:
(1) Mendeleev region at ........... Latitude 05.7º North — Longitude
140.9º East
(2) Goddard C complex at ........ Latitude 15.6º North — Longitude
..84.3º East
(3) Giordano Bruno at ............... Latitude 35.9º North — Longitude
102.8º East
In other words, although the terms used give the LCROSS portion of the mission
an engineering feel perception wise, what we are really talking about is sending
two heavy bombs down to the Moon's surface but putting spin on them as just
heavy impactors or excavators. If the LRO images that are made available for
public scrutiny are completely fake and sanitized as I suspect may happen,
then we are likely talking about a complete blackout as to any truth information
about what is really happening on the Moon and how what is going on there
may potentially effect Earth.
Let's face it, hidden people in control that don't want populations to know
anything at all about what is going on likely have something very serious
to hide, something that likely would not be approved of by populations if
known. That's the problem with control types who must operate in a semi-democratic
environment where the people who pay the way may potentially want to get involved
and start interfering with hidden agendas. This should be of concern not only
to USA citizens and tax payers but also others around the world as we could
all be impacted by any potential negatives generated by the LCROSS operation.Consider
the following speculation.
Remember that there is likely civilization evidence elsewhere
on the Moon according to evidence from the Clementine Moon imaging as I've
reported on in the past. Further, we don't yet know enough about what is down
inside these huge very deep craters permanently in shadow. So what in the
hell are we doing blindly sending large bombs down inside one or more of these
craters!
Consider this. What if there is water down there? We know that water is the
basis of life as we know it. Then logically it is possible that there may
be life of some kind down in some of the craters unique to this unique environment
taking advantage of it. If so, what right do we have to blindly do violence
to any such life based on merely an assumption of no life on our part and
just because it is expedient for us? Seems a terrible gamble and dumb
as a post to me.
Worse, what if there is intelligent and/or advanced life down there? It just
can't be you say. All I can say is, if you don't know even whether there is
water down there or not, how in the hell can you know whether life is down
there taking advantage of it or not? If someone advanced is down there, could
such violence or at least the attempt of it be interpreted as anything but
an act of war with deadly consequences. You know how you would interpret it
and there is little reason to believe that anyone else would interpret it
any differently. Blindly sending violence, uh excuse me impactor excavators,
down into one or more of these dark craters of mystery without knowing what
is there would clearly demonstrate that Earth has a bunch of ignorant idiots
deserving what they get.
In another speculative scenario, even if our secrecy types were secretly in
contact with someone on the Moon and they said it is okay for us to send these
bombs into one or more of these polar craters, in my opinion only a bunch
of rank dummies would act so blindly on verbal assurances only. What if there
is someone out of sight not wanting to be seen down in these craters more
than capable of defending themselves even from someone else on the Moon and
that someone else has a hidden agenda in such assurances? That someone else
might like nothing better than to see a lop sided war start between incautious
Earth and any deep crater residents.
I don't know whether you have ever thought about it before but Earth, as beautiful
as this world is to us, is not all that stable a planet geologically speaking
and very vulnerable to the right kind of planetary attack targeting its particular
vulnerabilities. It is a 70% water world with super volcano's and the ring
of fire at crustal plate joints. Accurately directed weaponized harmonics,
asteroids, or other weapons could result in world wide devastation plunging
us all in the abyss. Not good.
Unfortunately, I am reminded of that asteroid some time ago that was to come
close to Mars and possibly impact it that I did a 1/6/2008 Commentary
#024 on. Many scientists and people in the public were looking
forward to and even hoping the asteroid would hit Mars. Never mind that the
evidence here at this website strongly suggests life on the planet. It apparently
did not hit Mars but now what if you were from Mars or someone else out there
observing this kind of myopic, thoughtless, insufficiently caring behavior
here on Earth. What would you think of Earth people and our right to exist?
It would seem to me that, whether we have permission from someone on the Moon
or not, more cautious alternatives as to exploring the interior of these deep
dark polar craters should be the only thing considered whether more difficult
to implement or not. Further, bombs should not just be taken off the table
permanently, they should also be removed from Moon orbit permanently. A lack
of caution and blindly choosing expediency too often results in bad things
happening. So what do you think?
UPDATE 9/20/2009
I've received a delayed response for my contact with Senator Bill Nelson as
appears below over the LCROSS issue and not blinding bombing a Moon crater
interior with no real knowledge of what is there. This "public servant"
chairs the Senate "Subcommittee Science and Space" charged with
primary direct government oversight on all things NASA and JPL and therefore
mission like LCROSS spending tax payer monies.

This responsive is singularly without even a suggestion of compassion. Pathetic
and shameful isn't it. Sounds a great deal like a canned pitch brush off by
an underling in a direction they well know to be a dead end doesn't it. Does
it sound to you like that he even read my correspondence at all? Not even
a stall tactic like "I'll look into it."
In my opinion, this expected empty response is typical of what we out here
in the public are faced with when dealing with politicians of this day and
time. They are socially smooth and polished but, for the most part, they can
be expected to become involved in national or international matters important
to us not for reasons of the right or wrong of things but only for reasons
benefiting themselves, their reelection, and/or those they see themselves'
as owing favors to. They know that not enough of the general public is ignorant
of this issue and its ethical questions and therefore will not negatively
impact them.
If we out here among the people want political leaders to be responsive and
set a standard of acting responsibly, it must start with we out here in the
public banding together. We have to show them via numbers pressure that there
are consequences for poor irresponsible behavior and that it is accordingly
in their best interest to at least go to the trouble of acting like they are
concerned with the issues that we raise to their attention.
